Southwest Florida Food Scene

Naples and Estero are two familiar areas for me with my family being down there -- and I HAVE to share my favorite spots.

1. Bay House - my absolute favorite spot. There are different "areas" to sit at the Bay House -- outside which is a "chill vibe", inside in the "claw Bar" which is my personal favorite -- the dining room for the fancier occasion, OR there is a side, off of the claw bar that is more casual. They have it ALL here. They have a live band on the weekends and the vibe is always there. They have a massive parking lot that is always completely packed - typically most valet for convenience. This place is always booked - you'll need a reservation in advanced. Every item on this menu is to die for. The salmon, stone crab, the miso white fish, the steak, the cocktails, the wine list. The salads...every single thing is SO good.

2. Truluck's - Unlimited crab? ok. unlimited crab again? OK WOO! You guys --- this place might have a price-tag but if you want to go all out and enjoy.... here is where you're going to do it. You're welcome.

3. DeRomos - This might be one of my favorite places. I LOVE markets, little Italian stores, and of course great food at restaurants - this place is all encompassing. My mom and I went here for lunch one day - the food and bread rolls were AMAZING. After we went and got a cappuccino in the market, and walked around looking at all the great wine, speciality food items and process of homemade buffalo mozzarella taking place. This is where I am meant to be - my favorite life moments. After - we went into their cute store and I bought a ravioli cutter because why wouldn't I? Definitely recommend - great setting and great food - great spot for lunch or dinner to eat, and any time is great to go check out their market.

4. Nino's - LOVE this pizza joint - they are known for their pizza and mussels but also of course many other things too.. like a great antipasta salad.

5. Bricktops - I love going to Bricktops - it's in a beautiful outdoor shopping mall - people are around, the vibe is good, and the food is delicious! A few things I have gotten that I love - are the cobb salad, sushi as an appetizer, the Filet - all amazing. They have great cocktails and wine list as well. This is upscale but also casual feeling in a way. I definitely suggest for a nice night out!

6. Roccos Tacos & Tequila Bar - I love going here - it's a true experience! It's vibrant and fun and full of delicious food. The setting is just my favorite though. It's also in Mercato which is my favorite place to be in Naples. Their fajitas are INSANE - and everything is good. I also love Mexican food more than anything - so long story short, I am a big fan.

7. Skip's -- if you want to pick up amazing fresh Stone Crab - do it here.

8. Poached - Great little casual breakfast spot with good eggs Benedict.

9. Campiello - A wonderful Italian restaurant in downtown Naples. Again a great atmosphere - you can sit on the patio and see everyone walking around downtown, has the Italian feel and the food is amazing. It's upscale but doesn't feel stuffy.

There are many more ... I will continue to update and add :)
